Late last year President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill following two historic bipartisan votes in Congress. Hundreds of county Farm Bureau members engaged on the issue over the past year and a half, working with Michigan's Congressional leaders to articulate their goals for the legislation.

Officially known as the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) found that relative to projected spending projected, the 2018 Farm Bill is budget neutral and does not increase net direct spending or on-budget deficits over the 2019-to-2028 period.
